Vacation plans are underway, show schedules are set on the calendar and that means it's time to book your condos and rooms for the Charleston Summer Classic that takes place July 11-22nd!

The show takes place on John's Island during the peak vacation season and in order to get the best lodging, you need to book your rooms now! This is one show that the whole family will enjoy! Golf fans can play on several world class courses, families can enjoy the beach, boating and wind surfing. The Charleston Summer Classic is rated AA Premier Hunters and Level 4 Jumpers. Since the Charleston Summer Classic is the place families head to horse show, the schedule offers even more classes for everyone! Novice riders can enjoy equitation and hunter classes with heights ranging from 2' and 2'3" and up. Want to try out the jumper division? Heights range from .75 m to 1.35 m. The Charleston Summer Classic offers weekly $35,000 Grand Prix, $5,000 Horseflight Welcome Classes, $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derbies, presented by Kruse Cushion Ride, Pony Model classes and the Children's Hunter Classic, presented by Finish Line Horse Products. 

Don't forget, this is the last  Classic Company show to earn points for the $30,000 Green Hunter Classic, presented by Ariat, JPC Equestrian, The Farm House and Friends of Ellen Veitch. The top twenty plus five horse and rider teams chosen by lottery, will be invited to compete in this special offering Week I of the Atlanta Fall Classics for NO ENTRY FEE!
"We support the development of the Green Hunters and we could think of no better way to promote them than by offering this $30,000 Green Hunter Classic!" said Bob Bell, President of Classic Company. The show runs from Tuesday through Saturday to allow for extra beach time and there is a special social event most every day in the VIP tent. "Tables are already being purchased and reserved for this year's show," commented Grace McShane, VIP Coordinator. "VIP in Charleston is the best and everyone really loves it," she added.

Riders often say that this is the one of the only horse shows that the entire family wants to attend! And, there's a reason for that. The Charleston Summer Classic

Boutique (boo·tek ́) a. A horse show that is fashionable and unique. Always held at a wonderful venue with excellent accommodations for special horses, owners, and  riders.  Always  involves parties,  special  classes  and  fun  events.  Always has excellent trophies and rewards Grand Champions. Always has mimosas on Sunday mornings.

Our stalls will be limited to 500. There are 200 permanent stalls and four tents. That's it. Call as soon as possible for reservations. There are a limited number of camper spots on the show grounds with electric and water. We love our flagship show and can't wait to welcome you back! Great competition, lovely venue, perfect location, beaches, downtown historic Charleston, parties and VIP-fun for the whole family and barn!
