Gulfport, Mississippi - March 18, 2017

The Classic Company is excited to announce the inaugural $30,000 Green Hunter Classic in memory of Ellen Veitch, presented by The Farm House, Ariat, JPC Equestrian and Friends, scheduled for the Atlanta Fall Classic, November 10th at 8am.

The $30,000 Green Hunter Classic is open to all horses that have competed in the Green 3' or Green 3'3" division at the Atlanta Fall Classic Week I. Fences will be set at 3' and at 3'3".  This will be a two round classic judged by two judges with scores.  The top twelve horses will come back for a second round. This Classic will be run in accordance with USEF Rule HU 146.  Complete specs for the $30,000 Green Hunter Classic are here.

NO ENTRY FEE FOR TOP 20!
There will be no entry fee for the top 20 horses from the Green 3' and Green 3'3" overall standings at the following shows:
  • Pensacola I, II, III
  • Gulfport Winter Series I, II, III IV, V, VI
  • Atlanta Spring Classic I, II
  • Jacksonville Spring Classic II III
  • Atlanta Summer Classic I, II
  • Charleston Summer Classic I, II
The entry fee will also be waived for an additional five (5) horses, chosen by lottery. All others will pay a $500 entry fee. The current standings are online!
  • A Championship Cooler, twelve ribbons and the name and owner of the horse will be added to the Ellen Veitch Perpetual Trophy.

Keep track of your standings! It's not too late to qualify so put the Classic Company shows on your calendar today! Atlanta Spring and Jacksonville Spring Classic shows are on deck so compete in the Sidelines Green Hunter Divisions every week and gain valuable points for this monumental $30,000 Green Hunter Classic!
